Hi. LUGOS is a fantastic company that produces the fastest, most comfortable and greatest blah, blah, blah… I am sick of this kind of pseudo-corporate talk and I will not use it here. I am a craftsman and I do not manufacture seats, I only customise them. They are made by individual automotive brands and they know what they are doing.  Just a small comment to my wonderful programmer and let’s move on: Maxim, don’t run this through ChatGPT, please.

Due to the fact that I operate alone, I only customise a few seats a year and I don’t help myself by doing it unhurriedly. What I care most about is that the seats are done with care and technically correct. In a nutshell, it looks like I first remove the guides and mechanisms responsible for the seat’s movement and lift – their functions will be performed by accessories installed later. Then I weld the superstructure including space for armrests, batteries, electronic and electrical modules (excluding analogue seats). The whole thing has to be as compact as possible and allow a wide range of height adjustment of the seat and armrests.

Manufacturers only fit side covers to the seat on the door side. So, to make sure the finished seat doesn’t look like The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I fit additional, original shields on the other side so that the finished seat is as symmetrical as possible (there are a few exceptions to this rule). Finally, I make a grille from laminate covered with leather or vinyl, or felt. Its purpose is to be unobtrusive and to protect against direct access.

Ergonomics and comfort. I make no secret of the fact that this is a subject I have discussed in many places, and the conclusions are as follows: the seats that are least comfortable seem to be for users of internet forums, comfortable are for those who have sat in them and the most comfortable are for their buyers. This is hard data;) I myself sit in a Porsche 987 seat and am very satisfied. I always encourage you to try it on before you buy.
